So let's get to the inspiration for today's new Card Making & Paper Craft Scrapbook challenge...
Julie Barnes - Here is a card I have made using one stamp set called Great Day Florals PD7148. Such a lovely set and so versatile. The aim was not to use any pinks - that is hard! I started by ink blending a 6 x 6 card base and stamped several of the flowers and elements onto the card and shaded some. I stamped, coloured and fussy cut the larger flower head and toadstool and added to the front of the card to give it some depth. I then used papers fromVintage Candy paper pack PD8004 for the inside of the card, decorated the insert and envelope to math. I used my Faber Castell pencils for this make using the following colours:
- Cobalt Turquoise
- Light Cobalt Turquoise
- Emerald Green
- Light Green
- Light Cadmium Yellow
- Light Yellow
- Orange Glaze
- Cadmium Orange
RACHAEL - I've been working with the gorgeous new Botanical Bliss collection and this card was very simple to make but I think very effective, I love using inks and vellum together. The stamp from the collection is called Daisy Dragonfly and also has co-ordinating outline dies and layering stencils too!
Julie Nagle - This card radiates a playful vibe with a fun "I’m stuck on you" sentiment that perfectly captures the whimsical charm of this adorable design. The cute Desert Cactus image is colored with Copic Markers while happily showing off it’s smile against this flirtatious digital paper - Pretty Winnie Daisy Papers. Nunzia - I used this PRETTY FLOWER WREATH printable stamp which is from this amazing bundle - such great value and very versatile!
Wendy - Hi everyone! We're playing with flowers for this week's challenge and I just love this one! It's from the Watercolor Flower Stem Digi and it comes with this beautiful flower, sentiment and some gorgeous paper. Thank you for looking!
Wendy - Hello and happy Digi Choosday everyone ! Today I'm here with a vibrant floral easel card that I've made using the pretty Butterfly Flowerpots digi deal, its such a perfect set and included a pre-coloured version if you don't like to colour or you just need a quick card. I've included one of the papers from the recently relaunched Helga Hippo collection along with a sentiment from the very sweet Lily Bug collection. A really easy and quick card to create and I hope you like it! Happy Crafting !
Maz - For today's 'Flowers' theme, and not to use pink, I created a collection of floral projects using the NEW Botanical Bliss Collection using green and purple. For my large gate-fold card with belly-band and the tag, I used Radiant Roses. The stepper card was created using Hydrangea Ribbon All coloured using Distress Oxides and Zig Clean Color pens.
