Challenge 9 - Anything Goes Card Making & Paper Craft Scrapbook challenge - Gem of a Challenge

 Hello crafters - welcome to a new challenge!


This challenge is monthly - enter with $40 in prizes up for grabs!
You can enter up to 4 times, with 4 different projects.

PRIZES:
• 1 x Random Prize (we will randomly select 1 winner, so everyone has a chance to win) : $20 voucher to spend in the Polkadoodles store, on anything you wish including physical products.
• 2 x $10 prizes : we will select our Top 2 favourite entries from across the 4 weeks.
• The winners will be announced the week after the challenge closes, at the start of the next challenge

Let's see what the team have been making this week...

Paula – I made this adorable shaped greeting card using the Autumn Fall Fox. The card is sized to hold a gift card securely inside. It is perfect for a thank you gift for their favorite coffee shop! The fox is colored with Ohuhu alcohol markers and includes patterned paper too. The card opens to reveal the gift card secured to the back of the cover and a You are Terrific! message.
I used Ohuhu markers - colors used: B311, B315, G210, Y52, YG111, YR17, YR19, YR39, YR52, YR55

Cute Pumpkin handmade card idea by Julie

I started this spooky little card with a Creepy Halloween Paper from PolkaDoodles, but before hitting print, I added a few digital spider webs at a low opacity along with the “EEK!” sentiment, also from PolkaDoodles. Once printed, I added some black acrylic paint splatters to give the background a slightly messier, spookier finish, then matted the panel onto a black card base. The Stacked Pumpkin Trio image was printed separately, coloured with Copic markers, and fussy cut before being attached with a wobbler mechanism— three pumpkins now wobble and sway! For a little extra drama, I added Glossy Dots to the EEK sentiment and the pumpkins’ eyes, giving them that shiny, dimensional finish. A few sparkly bat embellishments from my stash finished everything off with just the right amount of Halloween sparkle. Cute, spooky, and it moves... I’m calling that a Halloween win!

How to create a shimmery gold Autumn card using dies and watercolours by Maria

Hello! Autumn is welcome to move in with me, joyfully! I absolutely love this golden season, and staying true to that theme, I’ve made leaves glow with radiant golden shine! I started by creating a watercolour background using warm brown, yellow and terracotta inks, then die-cut the leaves straight from that painted panel. You’d never guess it, but I used the Sweet Poinsettia flower Craft Cutting Dies for this! It works perfectly for autumn foliage too don’t you think?  For the second background, I blended yellow, orange and red inks into another soft watercolour wash, trimmed it to a strip, and layered it onto my card base. Then it was time for plenty of liquid gold! I brushed it over every leaf and flicked delicate splatters across the card for that extra sparkle.
To finish, I added a lovely sentiment from the Christmas & Everyday Sentiment Strip Pack because if this card doesn’t sparkle, I don’t know what does!

Eve - Hi there crafty friends, it's time again for another Digi Choosday challenge and today's theme is Autumn. I started off with the Gil Bunny Sunflowers & Kindness pre coloured image and mounted it onto yellow and green card. The background paper is from Autumn Fall papers, and the sentiment is from Autumn Fall greetings. After adding ribbon, a button and corner punches I stitched around the edges of my card with my sewing machine and finished off with some Stickles on the sunflowers. As always, I hope you like my card and good luck if you enter the challenge.
Kathie - Good morning and welcome to all my crafty friends and welcome to another Digi Choosday. This fortnight our design team’s theme is Autumn. Here is New Zealand it’s the start of Spring. You only have to mention the word Spring, the temperature’s change our days seem brighter, sunnier and longer. I’m using this very cute image from Polkadoodles it is Cup of Honey Gnome. I just love these Gnome images there so many different ones to choose from you’re spoilt for choice. This image comes black & white for you to colour, and it’s also available pre coloured to purchase. The design paper used were from the Autumn Fox collection. It’s a brilliant plaid which works perfectly with so many different images. I love working Plaids, Polka Dots, Stripes and Ginghams and I have an array in my collection of digital downloads. The image was coloured with the following Copic Chio markers: C0, C1, C2, C3, YG03, YG23, YG63, YG67, YG95, Y15, Y28, Y35, E02, E33, YR04, YR07, Black 100 Prismacolor Kelp Green, and Faber Castell Flesh. Ana - Hello, crafty friends! Today I’m sharing another card featuring Polkadoodles’ newest collection, Hello Autumn! I paired one of the cute Hello Autumn Bear and Mouse Pumpkin Ride Digi Stamp with coordinating pattern papers from the same collection and created my card using a card sketch but also giving the sketch my own little twist while keeping the overall layout.

Cute Halloween easy card idea made by Vicky

G’Day Crafty Friends, Are you read for a little Halloween crafting fun! This cute Terror-ific Gift Bag is perfect for filling with lollies, chocolates and other spooky treats. I adhered a piece of the bright & fun Halloween Trick or Treat Printable Papers Bundle 2 to the front of the bag leaving a small narrow border of Black showing around all sides. The adorable Dracula Boo Halloween Printable Digital Stamp has been coloured with Copics prior to his little head & the top part of his cape being fussy cut. I love that I can do this with images – so much fun & potential! This little bag is perfect for your Halloween parties, little gifts or simply spreading some sweet Halloween cheer.

Adorable Handmade Trick or Treat bags made by Yvonne

Spooky season is almost here and I'm jumping in with these super cute, slightly spooky gift/treat bags and tags. I created the treat bag using my Silhouette Cameo first and added digital paper designs from the Gnome Halloween Trick or Treat digital set packs 1 & 2 . I printed and fussy cut Winnie Wednesday pre-coloured digital images Winnie Wednesday Skull as well as Winnie Wednesday Witch and Cat. 
These awesome little sentiment strips come from the new Hello Autumn digital set and aren't they just the cutest. 
These were easy to put together by utilizing a pre-coloured image for my tags and an svg file i cut out on my Silhouette for the treat bags. They are perfect for gifting halloween treats or adding a handmade touch to your spooky decor. Have a crafty day!

Hello, crafty friends! Today I’m sharing another card featuring Hedgehog Sunflowers Colour Digi Stamp from the brand-new Hello Autumn Collection! I paired this cute image with the coordinating Hello Autumn Pattern Papers Set A and a matching sentiment to create this really adorable card. It’s actually very fast and easy to make!
