THE CHALLENGE IS: ANYTHING GOES

So let's get to the inspiration for today's new Card Making & Paper Craft Scrapbook challenge...

Today we're thrilled to welcome TatyCarrianne, Becky and Bea to the design team - we look forward to sharing all their amazing projects with you, please follow their lovely blogs and socials!

Becky - Hi everyone, I'm so happy to be on the team! For my first project I inked the card background with a water reactive inkpad and then coloured this adorable Bella Bear Snowman digistamp with Spectrum Noir markers. I added a couple of snowflakes to finish off.

Taty - For my first DT inspiration I created a Christmas tag with colors other than the classic green and red to follow the theme of the weekly challenge. I chose the Poisenetta Reindeer Christmas Gingerbread Cookie color digital stamp and I am very satisfied because the image printed on the cardboard respects the colors with a perfect result. I love gingerbread. For the background I used Christmas paper patterns 2 digital paper, which has a wonderful rendering when printed.

Bea - For this project, I used a piece of kraft cardstock for my card base, and the Paper Patterns Gingerbread Cookie, which I cut with a die from my stash to be smaller than my card base, leaving about 1/2'' around it or so. I also created a window to make my card a partial shaker, and used a sequin mix from my stash. I used the beautiful digital image Star Christmas Gingerbread Cookie digital stamp which I colored with alcohol markers. To finish my card I added a sentiment from the Sweet Christmas greetings bundle. You can check out the reel to see how I made this card by visiting my Instagram Page.

Carrianne - Today, I created a CAS card using the Snowman-Elvis Wesley Moose digital image. After coloring the image with Copic Markers, I used a frame die to cut it out. I printed the greeting from the Elvis Wesley Moose Themed Set onto blue cardstock. I cut it out with a sentiment strip die, then adhered it to the panel with foam tape. To complete the sentiment, I opted to cut the mistletoe from the Mistletoe Hello Set and adhered it directly to the panel with liquid glue. Blue sequins added a finishing touch to the card.
Copics used:
Moose: E43-42-41, added shading with Prismacolor pencils
Hair: E49-47-44
Antlers: E47-44
Scarf & Glove: RV29-25-23
Jacket: RV13-21-10
Snowman body: B00-000-0000, 0 colorless blender
Hat: B05-04-02-01-00-000-0000
Boots: C3-2-1
Nose: YR04-02-000
Snow: B00-000-0000
Mistletoe: YG63-61, RV25-21, Wink of Stella for sparkle

Julie Nagle - Today’s design showcases two images of Theo the Penguin from PolkaDoodles, Snowball Tree & Snowball Sleigh. A festive scene in a snowy setting shows teamwork creating a Christmas tree made of snowballs. The card has a window on the front to peek into the snowy 3D scene with snow-covered hills and a playful snow flurry background paper, Theo Penguin Paper Bundle 4. A fun Christmas Greeting finishes off this super fun Christmas card. My Instagram/Facebook

Wendy - Hi everyone! We're getting ready for Christmas, and Polkadoodles has oodles of Gingerbread Cookie bundles ready for you cards. For my card today, I used the adorable Frosted Gingerbread Reindeer from the Cute Noel Gingerbread Cookie Bundle. and I paired him with the Gingerbread house from the Snow Day Gingerbread Cookie Bundle. I colored them with my Copic markers.

Kim Stewart - Happy Digi Choosday! Hope you're having a crafty week. For our challenge this week it's all about Christmas(it's coming up fast) Are you a get prepared early person or wait till the last minute person? i procrastinate so much 😉 I chose one of the cute Bella Bear Christmas digital images for my card front called Gift Box Parcel Bella Bear. I also added in some ephemera parcels and holly berry leaves also from the Gift Box Parcel Digital download My paper choices come from Jolly Santa pack 2, and Bella Bear pack 2, and lastly Gingerbread Holly pack 3. I used lots of glitter glue which i added in different spots to make it very shiny and sparkly. What's on your craft desk this week? Don't forget to enter to new challenge happening. We'd love to see what you're created

Betsy - Poppies are for remembrance and this Poppies set is wonderful. You can buy it in the Blooming Lovely USB or download set or purchase just the Poppies set here. The image I used was one of the B & W stamps sized to fit into the arched opening of my card. Along with the poppy image I printed out a piece of tan paper included with the set. Simple coloring. I adhered the arched frame and colored panel onto an A2 size kraft card base covered with a bright red plaid paper from my stash. I used a sentiment strip from my stash, added some olive green confetti and that finished my card!
Copic colors used: G12, G21, G85, G28, C5, C7, R02, R05, R14, R17 R59, RV69
Til next time...Betsy

Rachael - Hi everyone. I’m in full Christmas making mode and every year I use this stamp set to make quirky and fun cards. Oh Camel ye faithful is one of my all time favourite stamps and this card is a quick easy make if you need to make lots!

Great inspiration from the team this week, thanks everyone for your hard work!

THE CHALLENGE IS: ANYTHING GOES

So let's get to the inspiration for today's new Card Making & Paper Craft Scrapbook challenge...

Kim Stewart - For this week's Digi Choosday we we're challenged to design a non-square Christmas card for a male recipient. For my project, I chose a Side Step card format and used one of the charming Elvis Wesley per-coloured images on my card.  Surprisingly I used no decorative papers this week as I found the card too busy with the decorative paper AND the coloured images. I add some extra festive cheer, and included ephemera elements from the new Gingerbread Cookie digital bundles . As a final thoughtful touch, I added a pocket on the back to hold a gift card.

Jenny - I'm so happy to be on the team! Do you find yourself needing some quick masculine Christmas cards? I created this card using the Snowman Elvis Wesley Moose SVG. By using the Elvis Wesley Moose themed sentiments I was able to add it directly on the Elvis Wesley Moose themed papers before she printed it. Adding the papers to black cardstock and offsetting them to the background creates more visual interest. Follow me - Crafting with Jenny on Instagram and Facebook.

Carrianne - For my first challenge, I had to choose between an Autumn or alloween card. I chose Halloween, as I love scary things. I have created a cute, not-so-scary card featuring the Mummy Boo Halloween digital image. The sentiment is from Halloween Trick or Treat Printable Greetings. I colored the image with Copic markers and then cut it out using my Scan N Cut machine. The background was created with distress oxide inks using the smooshing technique. I finished the card with purple sequins.
Copics used:
Skin: E000-00-11-02
Mummy: W3-2-1, BV000
Hair: C6-5-3

Julie - Halloween - My most favorite theme to create cards for! Today’s design team card is crafted to resemble an eerie tombstone using an arched die and a few quick snips with scissors for the card bottom. The mystical background is blended with spooky ink tones, a touch of metallic splatter and hints of ghostly whispers. A chilling haunted house looms in the foreground - Polkadoodles Spooky House. I colored in the windows with yellow tones and clear embossed the house to create the sinister glow of the house in the darkness. Creepy bats and tattered tombstones were included in the Spooky House download and were perfect for adding an unsettling charm to the scene. The bottom of the tombstone card reads “Happy Halloween” - one of the many sentiments from Ghastly Ghost Printables. I can’t wait to send out this ghostly greeting! My Instagram/Facebook
Rachael For this weeks challenge my inspiration is using one of the cool gnomes from the recent release called Autumn gnome trick or treat  I love the sentiments and papers in this pack too they are all perfect together !
Betsy - Hello everyone! Making this Freddy Fox shaker card was so easy with the Autumn Fall Fox digital stamp and papers. I sized my image in the computer and printed it out onto white card stock. I die cut my snow globe using a die from my stash. I used a satin white for the globe/snow part and a woodgrain brown for the base. I colored my image using Copic markers. I assembled my snowglobe and adhered it to the blue background paper that I had used a 3D snowflake embossing folder on. I covered my A2 size card base with an extra sparkly paper and added Stickles and my sentiment.
Copic colors used: W0, W1, W3, W5, W7, YR23, V12, V15,V17 V000, V01
So easy! Til next time...Betsy

Megan - Need a masculine Christmas card? I like to stick to traditional Christmas colors with bolder letters and bigger patterns. I used one of the larger patterns from the Elvis Wesley Moose themed papers for the background. I paired it with 2 of the bolder looking sentiments from Winnie White Christmas Sentiments. There are so many fun fonts in this digital download, I love being able to resize a sentiment to just the right size to fit my card. The adorable Pup on the front with the gift box is Cooper Christmas Puppy Dog Gift Box. I really don't think anyone can resist this sweet pup.
Ohuhu Marker Colors Used:
Dog Colors: WG050, WG070, WG090, NG07, R1, R9
Hat, Scarf and Bow on box: R1, R170, R180, CGIIOO, CGO20
Green Box: GY8, GY43, G170, G2 - Gold glitter pen
Megan Cooper (@lazydazestampin)

Merja - I used Isadora Witch image and coloured her with alcohol markers (and some white gel pen) before fussy cutting her. Then I cut the crystal ball with the Snow Globe die and coloured it with Distress Inks and white gel pen. I also used Starry Nights stencil with gold glitter paste to bring some more magical feeling. The base of the crystal ball is die cut from black cardstock and I added some white details with white gel pen and white paint pen. When the crystall ball was ready I taped Isadora on it with foam tape and added a Hocus Pocus sentiment from Boo Halloween Sentiment bundle.

Great inspiration from the team this week, thanks everyone for your hard work!

THE CHALLENGE IS: ANYTHING GOES

So let's get to the inspiration for today's new Card Making & Paper Craft Scrapbook challenge...

Julie Nagle - Today’s design team project is a festive holiday card featuring a coffee mug with a hidden pocket - perfect for tucking in a gift card. The card starts with a free Polkadoodles mug template. I added a beautiful pre colored image Winnie White Christmas - Shopping to the front of the coffee cup (which doubles as a gift card holder). A holiday sentiment adds Christmas cheer to the coffee cup. 2 printable holiday papers and a glimpse of a popular Christmas carol complete the background. Seasonal foliage was the perfect embellishment for this card front. All of the products used were included in the Winnie White Christmas Printable Collection. How excited will the card recipient be when they find a coffee shop gift card in the mug? If you want to know more, follow my Instagram & Facebook.

Wendy - Hello everyone and a happy Digi Choosday - the best day of the week in my opinion. Today I have a sweet little one layer card to share and it's all about Friendship as Life is definitely better with friends! I've used one of favourite collections for this card, the Freddy Fox collection, perfect all year round and definitely for those Autumn crafts. I've merged the Freddy with Poppy Flowers image with some little bees and the little bird from the ephemera set in my graphics software before printing and colouring with alcohol markers. The sentiment is also from the collection so a great all round set. Have a wonderful day everyone xxx

Wendy - Hi everyone! Who's ready for Christmas projects? I've recently discovered Memorydex cards and it's been so much fun creating them. These types of cards are on the smaller side, and the precolored images that Polkadoodles offers are so much easier than trying to color tiny places. I used the Time To Give - coloured image from the Winnie White Christmas Big Kahuna Bundle. I used some of the beautiful papers to create the Memorydex envelope base, the pre-colored image to add a card to the inside of the envelope and one of the adorable toppers to create a magnetic envelope seal.

Renske - Hello everyone. This time I started working with Mail letter post cute Helga Hippo. She's so cute. I wanted to make the theme of the card a post theme. So I made an envelope fold card. Place the triangle flap behind Helga Hippo to close the card. I coloured Helga Hippo with my alcohol markers. For the design paper, I used the sets of Pretty Printable papers 1 Helga Hippo and Paper Heaven 1 Horace and Boo. For the background, I cut patterned paper with a large stamp die. I also die-cut out some envelopes from the patterned paper. To complete it I used the digital stamp Just a note to say Hi. I edited this with the distress ink antique linen. And to finish this off, the text from the Winnie and Daisy sentiment set is the word HI on the inside of the card.

ENRICA - Hi everyone! This week the DT was asked to make a card with a closure of some kind and for my project I used one of my favorite digital images, the super cute Mailing letters - Noodle Panda Bear colored with Copic. I’ve creating my own background coloring and creating bamboo and if you want to learn how to do it don’t miss to follow the tutorial on Polkadoodles Crafts channel on YouTube. Digital patterned papers are from the Spring Tons of Love paper patterns 1. Love how this cute card turned out, hope you like it too! xx

Irre - I created this journal cover using this cute Winnie Daisy Fairy printable stamp. I love using digistamps with mixed media techniques, a lot of people have a hang up about not being able to use printables but they are very versatile, you just need to learn how to use them well!

Judy: Hi there! The DT was asked to create cards for this week's challenge with some kind of closure.I opted to make a gate fold card with a belly band to hold it closed. The patterned papers used are from Noodle Panda Set 1 Printable Paper. The focal image used is the digital stamp,Out and About Honey Pie.I colored with Prismacolor Pencils and fussy cut before adding to a die cut scalloped circle attached to the belly band. The sentiments on the front and inside of the card are from Winnie Daisy Fairy Everyday Greetings and Quotes.

Martine - It's that time of the year again.... making your christmas cards! I made my card with an ribbon...to close him. And i put a little bell on it..for that christmas joy! But isn't that image adorable or what? She is called Winnie Christmas Wishes . And i put a little ticket on it.. you get it here : Serenity Fairy Wishes Sentiments . See those flowers?... that winter look on it is..... sugar! Put a little glue on the tips of the flowers and sprinkle some sugar over it,,,that simple!

Kel - I knew when I saw this digi I had to play with her!! This character has long been a favorite of mine even before the Netflix show... I know I'm aging myself here but I loved watching the black and white reruns on tv with my dad. This cutie is Winnie Wednesday Skull and she's paired with some basic orange and black paper from the Gnome Trick or Treat Halloween Papers 2 set. Her sentiment is from the set Gnome Trick or Treat Halloween Sentiments - there is so much in this set I don't think I've made a dent yet in using them all!! Hope you come join us! lovies, =o) kel Visit me at http://blog.scrap-photograffs.com

Kim Stewart - HO HO HO Digi Choosday friends( well at least we're working towards that!). This week's Christmas theme got me in the holiday spirit. We were asked to create a card in a christmas theme along with some type of closure. I designed an angled gatefold card with a belly band closure. The gingerbread holly coloured images from the Gingerbread Holly Big Kahuna Bundle are just too cute and I couldn't resist pairing them with some festive papers from the Theo Penguin pack 4 and Theo pack 1. See you next time!

Rachael - Hi everyone. I wanted to make a card that looks really complicated but is actually simple and easy to make, especially for mass production. There are loads of shaped and interactive dies out there, so why not use them with one of our kits such as this one called Winnie White Christmas. These have all the coloured images, and backing papers meaning you don't have to worry about colouring or matching the colours. Print, cut and stick, for the most stunning card that looks like it took hours to make!

Great inspiration from the team this week, thanks everyone for your hard work!
