So let's get to the inspiration for today's new Card Making & Paper Craft Scrapbook challenge...

Kim Stewart - For my first Design Team project in 2024 I went with CAS because i was all carded out from my crazy Christmas card creating. I chose Freddy Fox for my card and some decorative paper (3 designs to be exact; two outside and one inside) as well as https://www.polkadoodles.co.uk/autumn-fall-paper-patterns-1-printable-craft-card-making-digital-downloads and https://www.polkadoodles.co.uk/autumn-fall-paper-patterns-1-printable-craft-card-making-digital-downloads/. I Coloured cute Freddy up with my Copic markers, fussy cut him out and popped him up on a center circle. What's so fun is, if you aren't into colouring or don't have the time https://www.polkadoodles.co.uk/ has coloured digital images as well. So it's really quite easy to create a simple card such as mine with relatively minimal supplies.

Jane – Happy New Year everyone! I hope 2024 has started well for you! My first make for this year is a birthday card for my brother using the MUSIC RECORD GNOME bundle. I used some extra backing papers from THIS COLLECTION too.

JANELLE - Hello crafty friends! Here's a belated winter card using Ski Theo Penguin and Theo Penguin Greetings/Sentiments . It's so hard to remember birthdays in the midst of holiday season! As always for more inspiration be sure to check out my IG @sparkle.craft.happiness and Facebook.

Merja - On my card I used this cutie Eli Elephant with Snowflake Balloons image and coloured it with alcohol markers. To the background I used Tangled Layering Stencils, Snowball Snowflake Bubble Dots Stencil & Distress Inks, acrylic paint, and a couple different pastes - so there's lots of stuff and layers 😁 The sentiment is stamped with Big Birthday Surprise stamp set.

Deborah - Hello crafty friends, Deborah here and for this week I chose to make a birthday card with the Octavia Thinking digital stamp in honor of Nikky's Birthday. I colored her dress with pink and orange Copic markers to give her a warm look. The digital sentiment is from Winnie Celebrations 3 and the digital papers that I used came from the Honey Pie Just Lovely Paper Bundle https://www.polkadoodles.co.uk/just-lovely-honeypie-18-printable-paper-download-bundle/ and the Eden Collection Paper Heaven Bundle https://www.polkadoodles.co.uk/eden-collection-paper-heaven-1-10-digital-craft-download-bundle/. If you would like to use the same Copic colors that I used to color Octavia, I have listed them below.

Judy: This week's DT card is created in honor of Nikky's birthday! Her favorite color combo is pink and orange and she loves slider cards. I've used Winnie Sunshine Delight Bouquet as my focal image and colored with Prismacolor Pencils before die cutting into an oval shape. I used 2 patterned papers for the background. The floral paper is from Spring into Easter Printable Paper Patterns Set 1. The striped is from Winnie Sunshine Delights 6x6 Printable Paper Pack 2. Pre-colored flowers and a b/w butterfly were fussy cut and added. They are from the Winnie Sunshine Delights Embellishment Bundle. I chose both of my sentiments from the Rose Budd Craft Download Bundle. My slider is pulled up from the top center of the card and the butterfly on the right slides up a channel cut into the card. I added ribbon and some pink pearls.

Renske - Happy Birthday Nikky! We have created all projects with Nikky's favourite colours, pink and orange, as it's her birthday soon. I don't used these colours much together, so it's a nice challenge to use them this time. Nikky loves slider cards, so I made a birthday slider card using the digital stamp "From all of Us" and coloured it with alcohol markers. I used a cheerful background paper from the Winnie Celebration paper set to make it even more festive. I printed out the digital stamp multiple times to use the balloons to attach to the slider mechanism. This way a beautiful bunch of balloons comes out from behind the girls. To make it complete, I used the sentiment "Celebrations" from the set Winnie Daisy greetings, quotes and sentiments. I hope you like it. Happy crafting!

Tinne - Hi everyone! We are celebrating Nikky’s birthday, and this is the card I made for this occasion. I used the beautiful Flower Meadow digital stamp, and coloured it with my Copic markers.

These are the combinations I used:

Top left flower: R24, R22, R20, R01 and R000
Top right flower: E17, R22, R20, R01, R000
Middle flower: YR27, YR24, YR21, YR000, E44
Bottom left flower: the same combination as the middle flower
Bottom right flower: R35, R32, R30, R00, Y38, Y32, YR24, YR21, YR000, E44
Greens: G46, G43, G40 and G28, G24, G21, G20 and G19, G16, G14, G12 and YG17, YG13, YG11

After I coloured everything, I cut the image to the right size and sprinkled some black paint over it. Once drie, I glued it on a white base card. Next I cut out a thin frame, using sparkling golden paper and white cardstock. I glued them on top of each other to create strength and dimesion. I white heat embossed some sentiments from my stash on black sentiment strips, put some foam tape behind them, and glued them on my card. I hope you like it!

Irre - Hello everyone. I'm back with a new project for Polkadoodles. I chose this time to create a small canvas. I created this with the digital stamp called Rebel Rebel Girl. I colored her with Copic alcohol markers. The background of the canvas I colored with ink spray and acrylic paints. I decorated the canvas with sewing thread behind the colored stamp and framed the canvas with black flower pot stones. I added some more textures with art stones and added with splatters to the canvas. Finally, I added a title from the Winnie Daisy greetings, quotes and sentiment pack. Judy: My DT card for this challenge was created with Ice Skating Snowman & Bear Too Cute Digital Stamp. This cute digi was colored with Prismacolor Pencils and fussy cut. The card base was constructed with circle die cuts. Glitter card stocks were used for a "frosty" effect. I used one of the digital embossed papers from the Christmas Joy Digiscrap Download Bundle on the background. The sentiment is from the Theo Penguin Greetings/Sentiments Bundle. It was printed and cut with an oval die. A bow and blue snowflakes were added for embellishment. The die cut embellishment was cut from

Ice Skates/skating Craft Cutting Die.

Renske - Hello everyone! I am excited to share my latest project with you. I have created a beautiful winter landscape on a slimline card base featuring the adorable Waddy and Wanda Penguins digital stamp bundle. These cute penguins are the stars of my card, and I coloured them using alcohol markers. I made Waddy slide on a sledge with a slider element, to add an interactive element to the card. I also added sentiments like "Flippert Flap It's Cold Outside" and "Brrrrrr" from the Theo Penguin sentiments/greetings set to capture the essence of winter. To give the card more charm, I added piles of snowballs and subtle shadows for depth. I had a lot of fun making this card, and I hope you like it too. Happy crafting! Tinne - For this week’s challenge, I created a very cute card, using the Snowman Bella Christmas Bear precoloured image. I totally fell in love with it when I saw it! I cut it out using my Silhouette Cameo. I cut out the HUGS letters using a die from my stash, and the beautiful dotted pattern paper from the Work & Play 10 – Paper Heaven 1 bundle. It matches the Bella Bear image perfectly! I also cut out two additional layers of the HUGS out of white scrap paper, to create some dimension. I inked a background usingSpeckled Egg Distress Oxide ink, and splattered it with water and white paint. I glued the HUGS letters on top of the background, together with the word BIG (it’s a part of a sentiment from the Winnie Daisy Greetings, Quotes and Sentiments bundle). I cut out a hill out of white cardstock, and glued my Bella Bear image on it. I put some foam tape behind it, and glued it on my background, using my stamping tool to allign it perfectly. I hope you like it!

Deborah - Hello all! I never seem to have enough birthday cards, so I am always mindful of the need to rebuild my stash. For this week's card, I decided to make a winter birthday card using shades of blue, lilac, purple, and grey. For my main image, I chose the digi Winnie White Christmas - Christmas Shopping. All of the images in the Winnie White Christmas are simply adorable. You can choose either the pre-colored or uncolored version. I created my background using the Christmas Holly, Gifts, Snow 3 in 1 Craft Stencil and some glitter paste. I finished the card with a birthday sentiment from the Winnie Celebrations 3 Sentiment Collection. If you would like to color Winnie using the colors I selected, I have listed them below.

Irre - Hello everyone. Sharing today a new project with the digital stamp Wanda fairy ballerina and I created a card with her. I colored her with Copics alcohol markers and then cut her out. For the background, I used heavenly circles stencil together with Distress ink. Then, I stamped with stamps from Doodle dragonfly and Queen for a day stamp set on the edges. I also used distress ink for that. After that, I painted the stamping with water to create a little more rough look. I added the Wanda stamp to the paper with 3D foam pillows. Finally, I added a sentiment from Winnie daisy greetings, quotes and sentiments pack that I rounded the corners on.
