So let's get to the inspiration for today's new Card Making & Paper Craft Scrapbook challenge...
Betsy - This gorgeous Floral Spray comes from the Blooming Lovely Collection. I printed the image onto glitter watercolor paper. I closely followed the colored version in the Collection for the flowers as I watercolored them, then added more bits of sparkle by using glitter watercolor as accents. I die cut the panel and adhered it to a card base and added tiny iridescent gems!
Julie Nagle -This Vacation themed card was so fun & easy to create using digital images from PolkaDoodles Winnie Starfish Collection, Work & Play 3 Collection. This whimsical Caravan Lady is ready to embark on a grand adventure, armed with her trusty passport, luggage, and a heart full of excitement! A lovely backdrop of beautiful blue sky digital paper provides the perfect setting for this postcard style greeting card. Her camera ready to capture all the unforgettable moments that lie ahead. She's got everything she needs for a fantastic vacation, and the sentiment: "See you soon!" passes on her excited vacation vibes! Safe travels! Irre - Hello everyone. Today I want to share a new canvas with you. I created this for Polkadoodles and used a digital stamp for that. The one I used is from the Darling buds collection, and this one is names Primrose flower girl. I colored the stamp with Copics and cut out the stamp. I laid the stamp aside while I was working with the canvas. For the canvas, I added modeling paste through a stencil and then painted the canvas with gesso. Then, I started to decorate one of the corners. I decorated it with many different elements. After that, I painted all the decorations with white gesso. Next, colored the canvas with watercolors. Now, it was time to add the stamp to the canvas. I then, dry painted the decorations with white gesso to enhance the textures. I also added some splatters. Finally, I decorated it with some rhinestones. My Instagram: @scrapbyirre
Merja - I combined Bob the Dog in a Boat image and Coast Beach Sea background image with a text editor program, printed and coloured it with alcohol markers. I die cut the image and added a blue cardboard behind it. The background paper is from Starfish & Sandcastles paper pack and I added a fish net die cut on one corner and added some blue Distress Ink around the paper before taping it to white cardboard. Then I taped the image on the background paper. Lastly I added the sun, bees, butterfly and reed images that I stamped with Unfrogettable & Toadal Sweetheart stamp sets and coloured with alcohol markers.
Martine Bruinings - We all like shopping...isn't it? Well.... shopping is my cardio ! Hahahaha But... i'm certainly hope NOT that this will happen to me when i am old! This lady is a Funny Old Bag named Embarassing Moment ( this is were you can find all the funny old bags lol ) . And i have used Polka papers.. Paper Heaven 4 Horace & Boo . Well, have a nice shopping day...maybe here at Polkadoodles???
Julie Barnes - For this card the challenge was Boys/Men and these are never the easiest to get inspiration for! I used the stamp set PD8146 Ready to Stumble and paper pack PD8194 Cheers & Beers. I made up a card base using a template I made in the shape of a bottle. I gold embossed the top to make it look like a bottle top and then ink blended the background. I cut out a 'label' stamped the glass and added some colour. Made a larger label with one of the papers from the pack and gold embossed the sentiments to match. I then made up a gift tag using the same stamp set and paper pack to make a matching set! Again I used my Faber Castell pencils. Colours used: 105 - 185 - 170- 171 - 112 - 140 - 232 - 231
