THE CHALLENGE IS: ANYTHING GOES

So let's get to the inspiration for today's new Card Making & Paper Craft Scrapbook challenge...

Kim Stewart - For this week's Digi Choosday we we're challenged to design a non-square Christmas card for a male recipient. For my project, I chose a Side Step card format and used one of the charming Elvis Wesley per-coloured images on my card.  Surprisingly I used no decorative papers this week as I found the card too busy with the decorative paper AND the coloured images. I add some extra festive cheer, and included ephemera elements from the new Gingerbread Cookie digital bundles . As a final thoughtful touch, I added a pocket on the back to hold a gift card.

Jenny - I'm so happy to be on the team! Do you find yourself needing some quick masculine Christmas cards? I created this card using the Snowman Elvis Wesley Moose SVG. By using the Elvis Wesley Moose themed sentiments I was able to add it directly on the Elvis Wesley Moose themed papers before she printed it. Adding the papers to black cardstock and offsetting them to the background creates more visual interest. Follow me - Crafting with Jenny on Instagram and Facebook.

Carrianne - For my first challenge, I had to choose between an Autumn or alloween card. I chose Halloween, as I love scary things. I have created a cute, not-so-scary card featuring the Mummy Boo Halloween digital image. The sentiment is from Halloween Trick or Treat Printable Greetings. I colored the image with Copic markers and then cut it out using my Scan N Cut machine. The background was created with distress oxide inks using the smooshing technique. I finished the card with purple sequins.
Copics used:
Skin: E000-00-11-02
Mummy: W3-2-1, BV000
Hair: C6-5-3

Julie - Halloween - My most favorite theme to create cards for! Today’s design team card is crafted to resemble an eerie tombstone using an arched die and a few quick snips with scissors for the card bottom. The mystical background is blended with spooky ink tones, a touch of metallic splatter and hints of ghostly whispers. A chilling haunted house looms in the foreground - Polkadoodles Spooky House. I colored in the windows with yellow tones and clear embossed the house to create the sinister glow of the house in the darkness. Creepy bats and tattered tombstones were included in the Spooky House download and were perfect for adding an unsettling charm to the scene. The bottom of the tombstone card reads “Happy Halloween” - one of the many sentiments from Ghastly Ghost Printables. I can’t wait to send out this ghostly greeting! My Instagram/Facebook
Rachael For this weeks challenge my inspiration is using one of the cool gnomes from the recent release called Autumn gnome trick or treat  I love the sentiments and papers in this pack too they are all perfect together !
Betsy - Hello everyone! Making this Freddy Fox shaker card was so easy with the Autumn Fall Fox digital stamp and papers. I sized my image in the computer and printed it out onto white card stock. I die cut my snow globe using a die from my stash. I used a satin white for the globe/snow part and a woodgrain brown for the base. I colored my image using Copic markers. I assembled my snowglobe and adhered it to the blue background paper that I had used a 3D snowflake embossing folder on. I covered my A2 size card base with an extra sparkly paper and added Stickles and my sentiment.
Copic colors used: W0, W1, W3, W5, W7, YR23, V12, V15,V17 V000, V01
So easy! Til next time...Betsy

Megan - Need a masculine Christmas card? I like to stick to traditional Christmas colors with bolder letters and bigger patterns. I used one of the larger patterns from the Elvis Wesley Moose themed papers for the background. I paired it with 2 of the bolder looking sentiments from Winnie White Christmas Sentiments. There are so many fun fonts in this digital download, I love being able to resize a sentiment to just the right size to fit my card. The adorable Pup on the front with the gift box is Cooper Christmas Puppy Dog Gift Box. I really don't think anyone can resist this sweet pup.
Ohuhu Marker Colors Used:
Dog Colors: WG050, WG070, WG090, NG07, R1, R9
Hat, Scarf and Bow on box: R1, R170, R180, CGIIOO, CGO20
Green Box: GY8, GY43, G170, G2 - Gold glitter pen

Merja - I used Isadora Witch image and coloured her with alcohol markers (and some white gel pen) before fussy cutting her. Then I cut the crystal ball with the Snow Globe die and coloured it with Distress Inks and white gel pen. I also used Starry Nights stencil with gold glitter paste to bring some more magical feeling. The base of the crystal ball is die cut from black cardstock and I added some white details with white gel pen and white paint pen. When the crystall ball was ready I taped Isadora on it with foam tape and added a Hocus Pocus sentiment from Boo Halloween Sentiment bundle.

Great inspiration from the team this week, thanks everyone for your hard work!
